Bangkok, City of Angels

Bangkok, City of Angels, is the capital of Thailand since 1782. Since than, Bangkok has developed to the major hub in South East Asia. It is a very modern city where you can find all modern comforts but still mixed with well maintained original old areas. The city is divided by the Chao Phraya River and split up in about 50 districts. Estimates vary from 6 - 10 million habitants. Some well known districts are Sukhumvit, Silom, Petchburi, Wireless Road, Suriwong, Chao Phraya river, Victory monument, Sala Deng, China Town, Kaosan Road etc.
